You don't even have to leave Kilkivan if you don't want to. One of Kilkivan's best kept tourism secrets is the privately owned two screen Drive-In Theatre which operates most weekends. There are lots of other things to do in and around Kilkivan. Choose from taking a historic walk through town, marvel at the collections at our local museum, long distance running or cycling along quiet country roads, panning for gold, birdwatching, bushwalking or just sitting on the back deck enjoying a bottle of local wine.
Your hosts, Bruce and Raelene Hurley are known for their innovative use of regional cuisine on their menu. You don't need to worry about meals; they can be fully catered for. Works by local artists adorn the walls of the bank and baskets of local produce fill the old bank chamber. Relax by the fire in winter or enjoy the balmy summer nights on the back deck. Leave the bright lights of the city behind you and come to Kilkivan and check out the bright stars that light up our clear night skies. Relax and get a taste of real Australia. HORSE RIDING TOUR
Kilkivan is the town of the Great Horse Ride. In April each year over 1000 horse riders ride the various trails outside the
area all culminating in a street parade, followed by a campfire concert at the showgrounds.
Now you can ride in Kilkivan all year round. We
have put together a package with Triple Olympian Pentathlete Alex Watson's company Equathon Pty Ltd so that riders can book a ride all year
round depending on availability.
The package includes two days of riding with top quality horses and equipment, two days accommodation and
meals. Alcohol and soft drinks are extra. Prices quoted are on a per person basis, with a maximum of 6 riders and a minimum of 4, depending
on configuration.

to create a new ride for you and your group.
